Question 1

What is SysMOD and how does it combine Discord bot features with Rust+?

Accepted Answer

SysMOD is a unified Discord bot and gaming operations platform. It brings together enterprise Discord moderation, AI toxicity filtering, DM support tickets, captcha verification, and server backups with an advanced Rust+ Live Tactical Cockpit. You can monitor interactive 3D terrain radar, control auto turrets and smart switches, track 100-member clan rosters, and receive instant raid alarms without juggling multiple bots.

Question 2

How does the Elgato Stream Deck plugin work with Rust+ and Discord?

Accepted Answer

SysMOD provides an official Elgato Stream Deck plugin built on the @elgato/streamdeck SDK. Using secure, hashed Personal API Keys, you can map physical Stream Deck buttons to toggle in-game Smart Switches, switch groups, receive flashing LED Raid Alarms, view real-time Storage Upkeep decay warnings, and watch live server population statistics directly on your desk.

Question 3

How does Clan Management work for large competitive gaming teams?

Accepted Answer

SysMOD includes an enterprise clan management system benchmarked for 100-member clans. It automatically creates colored Discord roles, structured tier permissions (Leader, Officer, Recruiter, Member), and private channel suites (overview, team chat, voice lounges, announcements). It enriches clan rosters with real-time Steam profile names and avatars, tracks member activity cohorts, and broadcasts live join/leave/death presence notifications.

Question 4

How does the 3D Interactive Tactical Radar work without manual map uploads?

Accepted Answer

SysMOD automatically discovers the server level URL and map metadata via Steam A2S query protocols and live server connections. It generates elevation meshes, renders procedural 3D monument proxies, and displays live world objects (teammates, death markers, cargo ships, patrol helis) in full 3D with interactive orbit, pan, and zoom controls.

Question 5

Can team members pair their Rust+ companion credentials safely without admin permissions?

Accepted Answer

Yes. SysMOD features granular Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) with dedicated permissions like "rustplus.credentials.manage_own". Non-admin clan members can pair their personal companion credentials so commands for their own smart switches and alarms route through their account without granting full server administration.

Question 6

How does AI Auto-Moderation protect Discord servers?

Accepted Answer

SysMOD employs a multi-layer filtering engine that detects spam, mention spam, invite links, caps abuse, and custom blacklisted words. It integrates AI-powered toxicity classification to evaluate context and automatically apply configurable actions (Warn, Timeout, Delete, Kick, Ban) while logging every event to dedicated audit channels.

Question 7

Is SysMOD free to use and how do I get started?

Accepted Answer

All SysMOD features are 100% free during the public beta. You can get started in seconds by clicking "Dashboard", signing in with Discord, selecting your server, and choosing the modular features you want to activate.
